Rebranding Dyadic: How strategic storytelling helped usher in a new corporate era

dyadic

In mid-2025, Dyadic International (Nasdaq: DYAI) began a transformation that would reshape both its business model and its public image. The company, with a distinguished 40-year history as a science-driven R&D organization, needed to emphasize its growing commercial biotechnology capabilities and highlight its expanding portfolio of high-value proteins, enzymes, and reagent products. Its leadership team was determined that Dyadic was no longer ‘a story about potential,’ but one focused on execution and market traction.

Achieving this new direction required more than just a new logo or a refreshed website. It called for a narrative reset – a way to emphasize the Company’s science and legacy, build credibility with investors, and communicate clearly with partners across life sciences, food and nutrition, and industrial markets.

LaVoieHealthScience partnered with Dyadic during this time-critical period. Through a rapid research effort, based on the methodologies of our trademarked LHS Immersion® process – our message development and positioning platform for emerging and commercial companies – the LHS team worked to understand the company’s science, markets, stakeholders, and competitive landscape. This intensive front-end review laid the foundation for a multi-phase branding and communications campaign aligned with the company’s new direction.

Building a brand that matches Dyadic’s strategic momentum

The rebrand became official when Dyadic International adopted the name Dyadic Applied BioSolutions, unveiled alongside a redesigned corporate website. The update was timely. Dyadic’s quarterly communications announced the company’s strategic shift from R&D to commercial operations and emphasized the growth of its product lineup across various market segments.

Our goals for the website relaunch set the mandate: develop a visual brand suitable for an innovative growth company, highlight the human element of the story, and clearly present the science and value proposition in accessible and accurate terms. The site needed to serve all major stakeholders – scientific partners, business development contacts, investors, and the media – while also providing flexibility for future milestones and expansion.

Within this scope, we created several visual approaches for the homepage, established a consistent navigation structure, and developed template-driven pages so Dyadic could expand the site as its commercial programs grew. LaVoieHealthScience also produced website copy, incorporated SEO optimization, and enhanced the Investor Relations content of the site.

Advancing the story through investor and business development strategies and materials

Dyadic’s transformation required materials that highlighted both its expanding product pipeline and evolving commercial strategy. Our team developed a new investor presentation framework that included updates on Dyadic’s quarterly results and business highlights, including its recently announced CRISPR/Cas9 license with ERS Genomics, which enhanced its strain-optimization capabilities across both its C1 and Dapibus production platforms.

We also developed a Business Development-focused deck tailored for three key market segments – Life Sciences, Food & Nutrition, and Bio-Industrial – each designed for customization based on context and audience. The project involved a structured design system, visual approaches, and content creation.

Together, these materials enabled Dyadic to communicate with clarity and authority to investors, customers, and strategic partners. They also strengthened the company’s expanding commercial identity.

As Dyadic advanced multiple recombinant protein programs toward commercialization and achieved key development and commercial milestones across life sciences and nutrition markets in late 2025, its communications and branding were already aligned to support that growth.

A platform for continued growth

In its public reporting, Dyadic highlighted the significance of its redesigned website, new brand, and expanded outreach as part of its broader shift toward execution, revenue growth, and long-term value creation. Our rebranding efforts helped the company present itself as what it had become: a commercially focused biotechnology solutions provider built on validated platforms and growing opportunities.

For LaVoieHealthScience, this collaboration highlights the importance of combining scientific knowledge with a structured communications process. By anchoring the brand in Dyadic’s science and commercial strategy – and by translating that science into clear, trustworthy stories – we helped position Dyadic for its next phase of growth.
