Michele brings 25 years of international and domestic communications experience to LHS clients with vast reputation management, corporate reputation campaigns, broadcast and oncology patient advocacy expertise. Michele’s primary LHS responsibilities include strategic and tactical integrated communications planning designed to continually build the conversation and brand confidence with key stakeholders while enhancing value. In addition, Michele is a Patient Representative for the Food and Drug Administration, Reagan-Udall Big Data For Patients Representative and hosts a Patient Power blog, as well as speaks, on the patient’s voice and survival.
Prior to joining Lavoie Health Sciences, Michele was the Chief of Communications for global and domestic communications and public affairs for multi-billion dollar consumer companies where she instituted and drove successful strategies and implementations for media relations, reputation campaigns, corporate responsibility, and developed cohesive messaging between product brands.
Michele is known to be a results-driven Communications and Public Relations leader. Her career spans executive leadership for both PR agencies and publicly traded global companies on the client side. She is highly versatile in heading public affairs, media and analyst relations, internal and external communications, crisis communications, thought leadership and reputation management Expertise includes social media, broadcast journalism and Corporate Social Responsibility. She has extensive experience in executive management and consulting in life and health sciences, philanthropy and government.
She led all communications globally for Royal Caribbean Cruises and its six cruise lines as Global Vice President of Communications/Chief of Communications.
She was also the VP of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility for DHL Express heading all external communications
President and CEO of Media Boston International and held senior communications and industry analyst relations roles at health and life sciences companies including Siemens, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Mercer Consulting.
